WebADB is an open-source web app tool that uses browser WebUSB API to communicate with the Android device from the web browsers. The WebUSB API is responsible for establishing the connection between the Android device and the browser.The only thing you need to do is enable the WebUSB API in the browser and the browser should support the new WebUSB API. Steps To Run ADB From Web Browser

Step 1: Enable USB debugging on Android device

To run ADB from the browser, you need to enable USB debugging on your Android device. To enable USB debugging on your Android device follow the below steps.

  1. Open setting on your Android phone and search for about device. Click onabout device.

  2. Under the about the device, tap on the build number 7 times to enable the developer option setting. This will enable the developer option setting.

  3. Now go back and click on the developer option setting.

  4. Next, search for the USB debugging option and enable it.

Step 2: Open your browser and enable new USB backend option. To enable the USB backend option, just go tochrome://flags and search for a new USB backend and enable it.

Alternatively, you can directly access the new USB backend option by entering thechrome://flags/#new-usb-backend in the address bar.

Note: The flag URL will be different for different browsers like for Microsoft Edge, the flag URL is edge://flags

Step 3: Once you enable the new USB backend option, chrome will ask you to relaunch the browser. Just restart the browser.

Step 4: Next, connect your Android device with your PC with the help of a USB cable.

Step 5: Now open the WebADB tool and click on add button to add your Android device. This will opens a dialog box that contains all the connected devices.

Step 6: On the dialog box, select the correct device and click on the connect button.

Step 7: Once you click on the connect button, a prompt box will appear on the Android device urging you toallow USB debugging access. Just click on allow to access the USB debugging session.
